You should check out The Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel—they’re serious about making great cocktails there. Try the Carlyle Punch—it’s delicious but the bartender wouldn’t give me the recipe. I tried to recreate it at home with light rum, fresh orange, pineapple, and mango juices, a splash of Grenadine, a dash of orange bitters and Hiram Walker Triple Sec—very good.
